A key benefit of the CAC system is its two-factor identification requirement. Users must insert their access card and enter a unique PIN at the device, providing added security in the event that a card is lost or stolen. The Xerox multifunction printer validates the revocation status on all certificates (KDC and user) using the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP). All MFP features can be set up to require CAC authentication. - Cloning feature saves time and eliminates errors
The cloning feature in the Xerox Common Access Card Authentication System reduces setup time for multiple MFPs and the potential for errors. Set up on one MFP, save a clone file with all your settings and then download the clone file to each additional MFP.
